Back in November, the Unicode Consortium previewed 51 emoji that are planned for release as part of Unicode 10 later this year. Now, the organization has released the full list of 69 new emoji coming with the update, which is expected to be released this June, though likely won’t come to iOS until later… Coming with Unicode 10 are a variety of new emoji, including a tyrannosaurus rex, a mermaid, and a plethora of other new ones. State Representative Victoria Neave was arrested by Dallas police for driving while intoxicated overnight, sources tell WFAA. Police got a call about 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday that a vehicle had struck a tree at La Vista Drive and Abrams Road in Lakewood. When officers arrived there was a woman behind the wheel. Only later did police determine it was the 36-year-old state representative.   An arrest warrant states that Neave had a strong odor of alcohol on her, was unsteady, and had bloodshot eyes. Her speech was slurred and she was uncooperative with officers, the warrant says, refusing to perform field...

A lot of folks in the Liberty-Dayton area are making other meal plans after a fire destroyed the Whataburger restaurant on the 1900 block of US 90 in Liberty around 5 a.m. Wednesday. "It's a total loss," said Liberty Assistant Fire Chief Steven Grimm. No injuries were reported, Grimm said, adding that when firefighters arrived, all employees and customers had exited the restaurant. A recent high school graduate in Austin, Texas - a young man named Dylan - brought the internet to tears this week when he posted a photo of himself and his dad at graduation. Family moments like theirs at a graduation ceremony may not be unique, but Dylan's father's tie certainly was.
