Why Highly Intelligent People Struggle to Find Love
In a conversation the other day, a friend of mine implied that he was single because he was too smart. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that it probably had more to do with the fact that he looks like the secret love child of Rick Moranis and a woodland creature. Alas, being single myself, I wondered to myself, “does being smart make it harder to find love?” In the end, I think it really does. I’m not saying that if you’re in love that you are stupid. I’m not saying that at all, so let’s be clear....
Report: Moses Malone Jr. Sues James Harden for Allegedly Orchestrating Robbery
Moses Malone Jr. has filed a lawsuit against James Harden alleging the Rockets star was responsible for “masterminding” a robbery against Malone, Isiah Carey of Houston’s Fox 26 reports. Malone’s suit alleges that Harden paid the robbers $20,000 to attack him after Harden became upset over Malone’s Facebook post about Harden’s basketball camp. “The post basically referenced the fact that James Harden was charging $250 for a basketball camp,” Malone’s...

All parents and teachers know what spinners are, regardless of if they approve. When Allan Maman looked around for something to alleviate his own ADHD, he ran into the concept of a toy that allowed you to unconsciously fidget while still focusing on another task. At the time, nobody was producing fidgets for the marketplace in a readily available way. Maman saw the need and realized he...
Intuition Is The Highest Form Of Intelligence
Intuition, argues Gerd Gigerenzer, a director at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, is less about suddenly "knowing" the right answer and more about instinctively understanding what information is unimportant and can thus be discarded. Gigerenzer, author of the book Gut Feelings: The Intelligence of the Unconscious, says that he is both intuitive and rational. "In my scientific work, I have hunches. I can’t explain always why I think a certain path is the right way, but I need to trust it and go ahead. I also have the ability to check these hunches and find out what they are...
