Texas Police Discover $2 Million of Liquid Meth in Cleaning Jugs During Traffic Stop
Central Texas police discovered a stash of meth last week worth $2 million after pulling a 23-year-old over for speeding, according to a news release from the Austin Police Department.
Seline Lizbeth Ayala was arrested July 12 in Austin and is facing federal drug trafficking charges, according to APD. Around 11:20 p.m.,
Ayala, 23, who police said is from Laredo, was pulled over in the 5400 block of I-35 North for speeding in her 2013 Dodge Avenger.
"Upon making contact with the driver, officers became suspicious," reads the news release.
Using a narcotics K-9, police allegedly found 75 pounds of liquid crystal methamphetamine hidden in white "Purple Power" degreaser jugs.
