After Spurs’ star Kawhi Leonard injured his ankle and was forced to take the bench, coach Gregg Popovich found his old pair of And1 basketball sneakers, laced them up, and contemplated taking Leonard’s spot on the team.

“Damn. Not only are these just as comfy as they were when I bought them in 2002, they still look sharp as all get-out,” said Popovich, practicing his crossover and shooting a bottle into a nearby recycling bin. “Still got it, Pops. Neat.”
